CM Omar Abdullah Convenes Emergency Cabinet Meeting Following Pahalgam Terror Attack
Srinagar, April 23: In the wake of the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 civilians, including a local horse rider, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has convened an emergency cabinet meeting at 6 PM today.
According to sources, the high-level meeting will be held at the Chief Minister’s Gupkar residence and is expected to deliberate on crucial issues emerging from Tuesday’s tragic incident in Baisaran, Pahalgam, where terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists.
The agenda of the meeting includes reviewing the overall security situation and strategizing further measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
