Srinagar, August 1: The Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) today held a meeting at the PCC Headquarters in Srinagar to review preparations for the Youth Congress Marathon scheduled to be held in Srinagar on August 2.
The meeting was chaired by J&K Youth Congress Incharge Maan Singh Rathore and attended by Anas Mujtaba Munshi, State General Secretary, J&K Pradesh Youth Congress and District Incharge Doda, besides other office bearers and members of the organisation.
Detailed discussions were held on various aspects of the marathon, including coordination, deployment of volunteers, mobilisation of participants, publicity and other logistical arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
Addressing the meeting, the leaders said the marathon aims to encourage youth participation, promote fitness and healthy lifestyles, and strengthen the spirit of unity and public engagement among the younger generation.
They appealed to youth from across Jammu & Kashmir to participate in large numbers and make the August 2 marathon a successful and impactful event.
The meeting concluded with the members reaffirming their commitment to ensuring the smooth and successful organisation of the marathon through collective efforts, coordination and active participation.
