The Jammu and Kashmir Government has extended the deadline for submission of Annual Property Returns (APR) on the Property Return System (PRS) Portal by seven days, giving government employees a final opportunity to complete the filing process.
According to the General Administration Department (GAD), Vigilance, all employees were earlier directed to submit their property returns for the year 2025 between January 1 and January 31, 2026, through the PRS portal. However, several employees either failed to submit their returns or only registered without completing the full submission, leading to default cases.
In view of these pending submissions, the department has now granted a seven-day extension from the date of the notification to allow employees to comply with the mandatory requirement.
The notification also advises employees facing OTP or login issues to update their mobile numbers and email IDs on the CPIS portal. For technical assistance, employees can contact the PRS support team via the official email provided by the department.
The government has urged all defaulting employees to complete the process within the extended deadline to ensure full compliance with the rules.
