According to sources, the International Cricket Council (ICC) will hold a final one-on-one meeting with the BCB in the coming days and announce its decision on Bangladesh’s involvement in the tournament shortly afterward. This follows a video conference between the ICC and the BCB on Tuesday, which focused on the participation of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team in the T20 World Cup 2026.

At present, Bangladesh’s fixtures in India remain uncertain, as the BCB has requested that its matches be relocated outside India, citing “player safety and security concerns.”……….(Agencies)
