Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir has been allocated ₹3,738 crore under the Special Assistance for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme for 2025-26, with ₹657 crore already released during the current financial year, according to official information.
The funding is aimed at supporting capital investment and infrastructure development across Jammu and Kashmir. The SASCI scheme provides financial assistance to states and Union Territories for projects designed to strengthen long-term infrastructure and economic activity.
The allocation is expected to support ongoing and new development projects across the Union Territory, with the released funds being utilised for eligible capital works.
