Senior IPS officer Nurul Hoda, a 1995-batch officer hailing from Sitamarhi, Bihar, has tendered his resignation from the Indian Police Service in protest against the Waqf Act. Renowned for his integrity and commitment, Hoda has also made significant contributions to social causes.
Deeply rooted in community service, Hoda runs an educational initiative providing free schooling to around 300 underprivileged children in his native village, emphasizing education as a foundation for true empowerment.
During his illustrious career, he served in key and high-pressure postings across Dhanbad, Asansol, and the Delhi division. He is credited with pioneering efforts in enhancing railway security, countering Naxal activities, and reducing crime rates through innovative policing.
