In pursuance of the directions issued by SP Rural Jammu, Shri Brijesh Sharma, JKPS, during recent border security review meetings with Village Defence Guards (VDGs), and in view of the forthcoming Republic Day celebrations, Jammu (Rural) Police has further intensified security measures in the border belt.
Accordingly, joint patrolling along with VDG members of PP Pargwal was conducted near the International Border (IB) at Malabela to enhance vigilance and prevent any untoward incident.
Similarly, under the supervision of the IC BPP Malla Bharore, joint patrolling along with VDG members was carried out in the Malla Bharore area to strengthen security arrangements.
These proactive measures aim to reinforce border security, enhance coordination with VDGs, and ensure maximum alertness ahead of Republic Day. The overall security situation in the area remains peaceful and under control.
