India Sets Up Control Room to Assist Nationals Amid Middle East Crisis
As tensions escalate between the US and Iran, panic has gripped Indians stranded in the Middle East. In response, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Wednesday announced the establishment of a dedicated control room to assist Indian nationals in Gulf countries.
The government also released a list of Indian embassies in the region along with emergency contact numbers. Countries covered include Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Advisory for Indian Nationals
The MEA has previously advised Indians in Iran, Qatar, UAE, Israel, and other countries to avoid unnecessary travel and monitor local channels for updates.
The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi specifically urged nationals in the UAE to “avoid unnecessary travel, remain vigilant, follow safety guidelines, and adhere to advisories issued by UAE authorities.”
