Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substances abuse, R.S Pura Police achieved one more success by recovering 24.86 gms of Heroin (Chita) like substance from one drug peddler from Police Naka, Dablehar under the jurisdiction of P/S R.S Pura.
A Police team of Police Station R.S. Pura led by ASI Sheetal Kumar I/C BPP Diwangarh assisted by other officers/officials of this P/S under the supervision of SHO P/S R.S Pura Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar & under the overall supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu on 13.02.2026 while on routine patrolling under the jurisdiction of Police Station established a naka near Police Naka Dablehar and stopped one motorcycle bearing Registration No. JK02DK-8194 for checking purpose. During Checking 24.86 grams of heroin like substance along with electronic weighing machine has been recovered from the possession of rider namely Mohd Mansha S/o Mam Hussain R/o Harsa Dabber Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu
In this regard, a case FIR No.35/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station R.S Pura, accused person has been arrested, contraband, motorcycle Seized and further investigation is going on.
Jammu Police reiterates its firm resolve to eradicate the menace of drugs from society and appeals to the public to cooperate by sharing information related to drug trafficking and abuse.
