RAJOURI, MAY 11: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Monday conducted an extensive tour of the Nowshera constituency in Rajouri district to review the progress of ongoing development projects and assess public service delivery across multiple sectors.
During his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister inspected the Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani, where he reviewed healthcare facilities, patient services, and overall hospital functioning. He directed officials to ensure efficient healthcare delivery and adequate medical infrastructure for the public.
He also visited the PWD (R&B) Guest House Kangri and emphasised timely completion of the project while maintaining high-quality construction standards.
At Siot Morh, Choudhary reviewed the Siot–Kalakote PMGSY road project and instructed executing agencies to expedite work to improve connectivity for local residents. He reiterated the importance of road infrastructure in enhancing public convenience.
The Deputy Chief Minister also inspected the under-construction MCH Hospital at Lamberi, Dhera Road development works, and the Bagnoti Nallah bridge project, directing officials to ensure timely execution along with safety and durability standards.
He further visited the I&FC Guest House Rajal and PWD Guest House Nowshera, reviewing multiple ongoing developmental initiatives and stressing efficient implementation of public welfare projects.

At the Sports Stadium Nowshera, the Deputy Chief Minister reviewed infrastructure development and said the government is committed to promoting sports facilities to encourage youth participation and nurture talent across regions.
He also inspected Sub-District Hospital Nowshera, directing improvements in patient care and healthcare services.
Later, he visited the bridge project at Masiti Mohalla Nonial and stressed the need for its timely completion to enhance connectivity and ease of movement for local residents.
Officials accompanying the Deputy Chief Minister included senior engineers, administrative officers, and health department officials.
