Deputy Commissioner Budgam Athar Aamir Khan visited Beerwah to inspect the ongoing construction of the main bridge over Nallah Sukhnag and reviewed its progress on site.
Officials informed the DC that the project has achieved around 45 percent physical progress. Engineers briefed him on technical aspects, current status, and expected timeline for completion.
The DC directed executing agencies to ensure timely completion of the bridge to enhance connectivity and provide safer and more efficient transportation for residents of Beerwah and adjoining areas.
He said the bridge, sanctioned under NABARD XXX, is a crucial infrastructure project that will strengthen connectivity between Beerwah and Budgam, and boost socio-economic activities by improving access to essential services.
The DC reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to accelerating development works and strengthening public infrastructure across the district.
