Chairing a meeting on market regulation on Monday, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah directed the Food Safety Department to ensure that all food items comply with quality and safety standards.
He also instructed the department to intensify inspections to enforce these measures effectively.
In a post on X, the Office of the Chief Minister, J&K, stated, “Chief Minister chaired a meeting on market regulation and directed the Food Safety Department to intensify inspections to ensure all food items meet quality and safety standards.”
