Vice President-elect C P Radhakrishnan is likely to take oath of office before President Droupadi Murmu on Friday, officials said.
The swearing-in ceremony is expected to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on September 12, they added.
“67-year-old C P Radhakrishnan won the vice-presidential election on Tuesday, defeating joint opposition nominee B Sudershan Reddy by 152 votes.
The election was necessitated following the sudden resignation of incumbent Jagdeep Dhankhar on July 21.
