The Army said troops of the White Knight Corps, in coordination with Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF, acted on a strong intelligence grid established by civil and military agencies. Security forces tracked the terrorists through cold, wet and freezing conditions across rugged mountainous terrain, resulting in multiple encounters before all seven were finally neutralised.

According to the statement, advanced technologies such as FPV drones, satellite imagery, RPAs/UAVs and modern communication systems were extensively used to support the operation.

The Army added that the elimination of Saifullah and his associates has dealt a significant blow to the terror network operating in the region. The success, it said, reflects the determination, courage and professionalism of the security forces and intelligence agencies. (Agencies)
