BHADERWAH, MAY 15: Social Welfare Department in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority on Thursday organised an anti-drug awareness programme under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at Bhaderwah.
A large number of students, local residents and officials participated in the awareness programme aimed at educating people about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of collective efforts to eradicate the menace from society.
During the programme, speakers highlighted the serious social, legal and health consequences associated with substance abuse and stressed the need for active public participation in building a drug-free society. Participants were encouraged to remain vigilant and support the mission of creating a safe, healthy and addiction-free environment.
The participants appreciated the initiative and pledged to spread awareness against drug addiction in their respective areas. The organisers reiterated their commitment to continue such outreach and awareness programmes across the region under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
