In a parallel financial investigation conducted under the provisions of the NDPS Act, Doda Police traced proceeds of crime linked to drug trafficking and successfully froze bank accounts containing approximately ₹19 lakh belonging to the accused persons involved in the case. Officials said the financial probe is being further expanded to identify additional assets and proceeds generated through the illegal narcotics trade.

With the latest recovery, the total quantity of heroin-like substance seized in the case has now reached 100 grams, further strengthening the evidence against the accused and exposing a larger organised drug trafficking network.
