SRINAGAR, MAY 10: Omar Abdullah on Saturday dedicated medical equipment worth ₹2.25 crore to the public at Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Hospital, aimed at strengthening critical healthcare facilities at the hospital.
The Chief Minister inaugurated advanced medical equipment procured under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of HDFC Bank, including an ERCP Endoscopy Machine, Ultra/Doppler Sound Machine, Tissue Processor for Histopathology and Laser Urology equipment.
During his visit, Omar Abdullah toured several newly upgraded sections of the hospital, including the Department of Pathology, Department of Laboratory, Immunology Section, Biochemistry Section and USG Room. He also interacted with doctors, technicians and paramedical staff at the hospital.

Appreciating the dedication and commitment of healthcare workers, the Chief Minister praised the hospital staff for providing quality healthcare services to the people throughout the year.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary, Minister for Health and Medical Education Sakina Itoo, MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, Medical Superintendent of JLNM Hospital, representatives of HDFC Bank, senior doctors and other officials.
