Power shutdown scheduled in parts of Jammu, Kathua, Kishtwar and Ramban districts

JPDCL announces temporary power disruption in several areas due to maintenance and related works

JAMMU, MAY 07: Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL Jammu has informed that power supply to several areas across Jammu, Kathua, Kishtwar and Ramban districts will remain affected on May 08, 09, 11 and 12 due to maintenance and related works.

According to the department, power supply to Hatli, Maroli, Khanyara, Hote, Mehtabpur and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 08 from 7 am to 2 pm.

Similarly, electricity supply to Industries, Seoda Kanal, Birpur and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 08 from 8 am to 1 pm.

Power supply to Biaspur, Kotli, Kalyana, Sai Kalan, Khanachak, Abdullian, Nikowal and adjoining areas will also remain affected on May 08 from 8 am to 12 noon.

Likewise, power supply to Sarthal Mandir, Kuntwara and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 09 from 9 am to 3 pm.

The department further informed that electricity supply to Ward No. 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Taraf Sanji, Jarai, Bhagthali, Bhagthali Industry, PHE Installations, Paliwand, Basantpur, RTIC, MES Lakhanpur and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 09 from 6 am to 11 am.

Similarly, power supply to Military Cantt, Military Hospital, Airforce Satwari, Ashok Nagar, Shastri Nagar and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 09 from 8 am to 2 pm.

Superintending Engineer O&M Circle-III JPDCL Batote informed that power supply to Ramsoo, Ukhral and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 09 and 11 from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL O&M Circle Kathua informed that power supply to Chainpura, Moni Mandir, Ujh Barrage and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 09 and 12 from 6 am to 10 am.
