Youth Congress Convention in Doda Sees Strong Participation; IYC President Uday Bhanu Chib Leads Proceedings

Jammu/Doda May 6, 2026: A significant one-day Youth Congress Convention was successfully organized in Doda in the presence of Uday Bhanu Chib, National President of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC).

The visiting leader was accorded a warm and enthusiastic welcome by Youth Congress members and party workers from across the Chenab Valley, reflecting unity and growing organizational strength at the grassroots level.

The convention was held under the leadership and supervision of State Youth General Secretary and District Doda Incharge Anas Mujtaba Munshi, who ensured smooth coordination and successful execution of the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Uday Bhanu Chib emphasized the importance of youth empowerment, protection of constitutional values, and the active role of young leaders in safeguarding democratic principles. He called upon the youth to strengthen their engagement at the grassroots level and actively participate in upcoming party programmes.

The convention served as a key platform for deliberations on strengthening organizational structure, enhancing outreach, and mobilizing youth across the region.

Several senior leaders and party functionaries also marked their presence, including Chaudhary Lal Singh, Sham Lal Bhagat, P. L. Shan, Javed Ahmed Lone, Sawaran Veer Singh, Shariq Ahmad Saroori, Fairoz Khan, Shabir Ahmed Lone, Jai Sidh Bhalla, Baber Sher, and Mudassir Ahmed Banday, among others.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from party cadres and youth workers, showcasing renewed energy, commitment, and a collective resolve to further strengthen the party across the Chenab Valley.

The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all workers, volunteers, and supporters whose dedicated efforts contributed to the grand success of the convention.
