Congress Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi, questioned the government’s narrative, stating, “You claim Operation Sindoor is incomplete and warn that Pakistan might strike again — then how is this a success? You admit there was no intention of war, but why not? You say there was no aim to reclaim territory — why? If not now, then when will we take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir? The most horrific terror attacks have occurred during your tenure.”

Opposition’s Discussion on Operation Sindoor:
According to sources, Congress Deputy Leader Gaurav Gogoi will lead the Opposition’s debate on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha. Other speakers from the party include Priyanka Gandhi Vadra (Wayanad), Deepender Singh Hooda (Rohtak), Praniti Shinde (Solapur, Maharashtra), Saptagiri Ulaka (Koraput, Odisha – ST), and Brijendra Singh Ola (Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan).
Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi is expected to address the House on the second day of the debate.

Protests against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar entered the sixth day of the Monsoon Session, with Opposition MPs urging the Election Commission of India to immediately stop the process.
