A 25-year-old teacher at Alexander High School in Georgia, US, has been arrested twice in May over serious allegations of sexual misconduct involving a minor student. The teacher, identified as Maris Nichols, who also served as operations manager for the school’s football team, is facing multiple charges linked to inappropriate sexual contact.
According to arrest warrants, Nichols allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a student on more than one occasion, including incidents reported on April 23 inside a school closet and later on May 2 inside a vehicle. She is also accused of sending explicit images and videos to several individuals.
A further warrant claims that Nichols had additional inappropriate contact with another student on May 3. Investigators also allege she shared explicit content involving a student, which later began circulating among students.
Reports state that some students allegedly attempted to blackmail the teacher after discovering her OnlyFans account, demanding better grades in exchange for not leaking explicit material.
The investigation has led to at least 27 search warrants. Nichols has since been released on bond but remains under strict conditions prohibiting contact with minors, except her daughter. Her attorney has filed a motion requesting permission for her to have contact with her 17-year-old brother, stating she has complied with all court restrictions.
She currently faces multiple charges including tampering with evidence, child molestation, improper sexual contact by an employee, and grooming of a minor. The investigation remains ongoing.
