Harvinder Singh, IAS among Three IAS Officers Transferred From Jammu Kashmir To Arunachal Pradesh

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has transferred three IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh with immediate effect.
SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has transferred three IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh with immediate effect.

As per an order issued by the MHA on September 3, 2026, Mohd Aijaz, IAS (AGMUT: 2012), Harvinder Singh, IAS (AGMUT: 2019), and Shishir Gupta, IAS (AGMUT: 2020), have been relieved of their postings in Jammu and Kashmir and assigned to Arunachal Pradesh.

The order, issued with the approval of the Competent Authority, states that the transfers will remain effective until further orders.

The three officers have been directed to be relieved from their present assignments within 15 days of the order being issued.

The directive was issued under File No. 15041/08/2023-UTS.I and signed by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs.
