PULWAMA, MAY 07: District Administration Pulwama today concluded the three-day training programme for Supervisors and Enumerators for Census 2027 Phase-I (House Listing and Housing Census).
The training programme aimed to equip field functionaries with the necessary knowledge and skills for smooth, systematic and effective conduct of the forthcoming Census operations.
During the training sessions, participants were imparted detailed orientation regarding procedures for House Listing and Housing Census, data collection methodology, use of digital tools and adherence to census guidelines and protocols. The trainees were also sensitized about their roles and responsibilities in ensuring accuracy and transparency during the census exercise.
The programme was conducted in batches for all charges at various centres including Government Degree College Boys Pulwama, Government Degree College Tral, Government Degree College Awantipora, Government Degree College Pampore, High School Aripal, Government Higher Secondary School Kakapora, Government Higher Secondary School Rajpora, Government Higher Secondary School Litter, Town Hall MC Pulwama, Town Hall MC Pampore, Town Hall MC Awantipora, Town Hall MC Khrew and Town Hall MC Tral.
During the programme, master trainers and concerned officers interacted with the participants and addressed their queries to ensure better understanding of census procedures and field-level implementation.
