Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded the coldest night of the season at minus 2.1°C.
According to the Meteorological (MeT) Department, Pahalgam was the coldest place in the Kashmir Valley, with temperatures dropping to minus 3.8°C.
Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, Director of MeT, told KNO that no wet spell is expected over the next week, and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged until November 17.
He added that there could be a slight rise in night temperatures for two to three days after November 17.
