JAMMU, Mar 25: A Pakistani intruder was detained by the Border Security Force (BSF) along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district on Wednesday, officials said.
Alert BSF personnel noticed the movement of an elderly Pakistani man near Border Out Post Bhaller in the Ramgarh sector and challenged him after he crossed onto this side, officials said.
The intruder surrendered when challenged, and preliminary questioning suggested that he had inadvertently crossed the border.
Officials said he is likely to be repatriated after completion of necessary formalities. (Agency)
