Home Minister Amit Shah to Visit Srinagar
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, reacting strongly to the attack, announced he would visit Srinagar on Tuesday evening after concluding a high-level security meeting in Delhi. “Deeply anguished by the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. The perpetrators of this heinous act will face the severest consequences. I have briefed Prime Minister Modi and will personally oversee a security review in Srinagar,” Shah stated on social media.

Omar Abdullah Returns to Srinagar
Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Minister Omar Abdullah cut short his visit to Ramban and returned to Srinagar following the attack. He is expected to monitor the situation closely and hold consultations with local authorities.

Sajad Lone Condemns Attack
People’s Conference chief Sajad Lone condemned the act, calling the terrorists the “biggest enemies of Kashmiris.” He added, “Attacking our guests is a war against the hospitality and economy of Kashmir. These terrorists are the enemies of our future and our children’s future.”

Prime Minister Modi Briefed, Urges Swift Action
Sources confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, currently in Jeddah, was briefed on the situation. He directed Amit Shah to visit the site and ensure all necessary actions are taken to bring the culprits to justice.
