One person died and two others were injured after a Deodar tree fell on them in the Sheikhpora area of Sallar in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
Officials told GNS that the tree fell on a shed in Sheikhpora Sallar this afternoon, leading to the instant death of one person and injuries to two others.
The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Basharat Ahmad Shah, a resident of Sheikhpora Sallar.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (Agencies)
