Anantnag, Feb 6 : A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday visited Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag in south Kashmir to collect documents in connection with the Red Fort blast case, official sources said.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that the NIA team sought specific records from the medical college as part of its ongoing investigation. The officials remained at the institution for several hours and interacted with the hospital administration to obtain the required documents.
The visit is part of the agency’s efforts to verify and corroborate evidence linked to the case. However, officials declined to share further details, citing the sensitive nature of the investigation.
The NIA is continuing to probe multiple aspects of the Red Fort blast case, including possible links, movement of suspects and supporting evidence across different locations. (Agencies)
