Mumbai Indians Defeat Delhi Capitals by 12 Runs in IPL Clash
Mumbai Indians secured a 12-run victory over Delhi Capitals in their IPL match on Sunday.
Sent in to bat, Mumbai Indians posted a total of 205/5, powered by Tilak Varma’s explosive 33-ball 59. Ryan Rickelton (41 off 25 balls), Suryakumar Yadav (40 off 28 balls), and Naman Dhir (38 off 17 balls) also made vital contributions to the total.
In response, Delhi Capitals were all out for 193 in 19 overs, despite a brilliant knock of 89 from Karun Nair off 40 balls.
Karn Sharma was the standout bowler for Mumbai, claiming 3/36, while Mitchell Santner supported well with 2/43. For Delhi, Vipraj Nigam (2/41) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/23) took two wickets each, and Mukesh Kumar (1/38) picked up one.
This victory marked Mumbai Indians’ second win in six matches, providing a much-needed boost to their campaign after a challenging start.
