Srinagar, Feb 13: National Conference Member of Parliament, Mian Altaf Ahmed, has condoled the demise of Ghulam Ahmad Mir, father-in-law of Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo, Editor of Greater Kashmir.
In a condolence message, Mian Altaf expressed his grief and extended his heartfelt sympathies to Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo. “I extend my deepest condolences to Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo Sahib over the tragic passing of his father-in-law,” he said.
Mian Altaf prayed for the magfirah of the late Ghulam Ahmad Mir and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. “May Almighty Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give strength and patience to the family to bear this profound loss,” the statement added.
The senior NC leader also expressed grief over the passing of former Minister and senior NC leader from Kargil, Qamar Ali Akhoon, praying for eternal peace for the departed soul and offering condolences to his family. (Agencies)
