MLA Kishtwar, Shagun Parihar, today visited the Dachhan area of Kishtwar district and inaugurated an internal link road providing direct road connectivity to the village of Kiyar with the Tehsil Headquarters. The road was a long-pending demand of the local population.
The newly inaugurated road will benefit over 3,000 residents of Kiyar and adjoining areas by ensuring improved access to healthcare, education, and administrative facilities.
After the inauguration, a public meeting was held at Sirshi, where the MLA interacted with the locals and listened to their grievances and developmental concerns. Addressing the gathering, Shagun Parihar assured the people that all genuine issues and difficulties faced by them would be addressed on a priority basis in coordination with the district administration and concerned departments.
She reiterated the government’s commitment towards infrastructure development, public welfare, and inclusive growth, stating that improving road connectivity in remote and hilly areas remains one of the top priorities.
Several senior party leaders, district-level office bearers, and prominent locals were present on the occasion.
