Srinagar, Mar 14: Mehbooba Mufti, president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Saturday chaired a key meeting with senior party leaders to review organisational matters and assess the prevailing political situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to party insiders who spoke t, the meeting was held at the party headquarters and included discussions on various organisational issues and future strategies aimed at strengthening the party’s presence across the Union Territory.
Sources familiar with the development said the participants conducted a detailed review of the current political landscape and also discussed issues related to governance and public welfare in the region.
During the meeting, Mehbooba Mufti emphasised the need for party workers to stay connected with the grassroots and actively address public concerns through continued political outreach.
The discussions also focused on assessing the party’s performance at the district level and exploring ways to strengthen its support base among different sections of society. (Agency)
