Shocking allegations of “medical terrorism” have surfaced from top officials in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government and the family of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan,. On Thursday, KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and Khan’s sister, Aleema Khanum, accused the Adiala Jail administration of a deliberate conspiracy to permanently blind the PTI founder.

Chief Minister Afridi launched a strong attack on Jail Superintendent Ghafoor Anjum, claiming the official acted as an instrument of the “fake government of Punjab” to systematically worsen Khan’s health. Afridi alleged that the neglect was so severe that Khan’s eyesight was brought to the brink of total loss. “We are being told his vision has plummeted to a mere 10 to 15 per cent,” the CM said, adding that the federal government’s lack of transparency regarding Khan’s condition constitutes a “grave humanitarian crisis.”
