The Ladakhi Ethnic Food Festival “Mamamani” was successfully organised today at Olistaan Café, Jammu, celebrating the rich culinary heritage and traditional food culture of Ladakh. The festival witnessed an enthusiastic response from people across different walks of life, highlighting the growing appreciation for Ladakh’s unique traditions.

The event was graced by several prominent personalities, including MLA Vikram Randhawa, Waqf Board Member Sohail Kazmi, Former J&K Legislative Chairman Haji Anayat Ali, Political Activist Salman Nizami, Editor News Insider Masood Malik, and Political Activist Sajjad Kargili, whose presence added significance to the occasion.
All the dignitaries were warmly welcomed with traditional hospitality by Olistaan Café Owner Syed Ali Akber and Mohammad Hasnain Rocky, who emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting Ladakhi cuisine and culture through such initiatives.
On the occasion, traditional Ladakhi food items including Popot, Marzan, and Khulaq were beautifully displayed, giving visitors an authentic glimpse into Ladakh’s ethnic food traditions. The festival served not only as a culinary celebration but also as a platform for cultural exchange and unity.
