Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expresses sorrow over the deaths of two policemen in a road accident.

Officials reported that three sub-inspectors were traveling from Srinagar to Jammu after completing their Amarnath Yatra duty when they met with an accident at Tengan in the Lasjan area of the city.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has expressed profound sorrow over the death of J&K Police Sub-Inspectors Sachin Verma of 23 Bn IRP and Shubam Seth of 21 Bn IRP in a tragic road accident in Srinagar’s Nowgam area.

A press statement said, “Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed deep grief over the loss of PSI Sachin Verma and PSI Shubam Seth in the road accident in Nowgam, Srinagar.”

According to officials, three sub-inspectors were traveling from Srinagar to Jammu after completing their Amarnath Yatra duty when their vehicle met with an accident at Tengan in the Lasjan area of the city. The policemen were rushed to a hospital, where two of them were declared dead on arrival. (Agencies)
