When contacted, a SpiceJet spokesperson confirmed that the flight from Delhi to Leh turned back shortly after take-off due to a technical problem.

“The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers were disembarked normally,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

The source maintained that the aircraft experienced an engine-related issue. However, the airline spokesperson clarified that there was no fire warning in the cockpit. (Agency)
