Kishtwar’s Advocate Kuldeep Kumar Sharma Honoured by Lloyd Law College for Outstanding Contributions to Law and Society

Kishtwar, July 13: Eminent advocate and social activist Kuldeep Kumar Sharma of Kishtwar has been felicitated by Lloyd Law College and Lloyd School of Law for his distinguished achievements in the legal profession and his dedicated service to society.

An alumnus of the LL.B. batch (2003–2006), Advocate Kuldeep Kumar Sharma has established himself as a prominent legal practitioner, serving as Standing Counsel for several government departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs), financial institutions and infrastructure companies. He has earned recognition for successfully handling a wide range of important legal matters.

Beyond his legal career, Sharma has remained actively involved in social and community welfare initiatives. A former Sarpanch, he has long been associated with the Shri Sarthal Devi Management Committee, where he plays an important role in overseeing the arrangements and smooth conduct of the annual Shri Sarthal Devi Yatra.

He is also actively associated with the Social Reforms Charitable Organisation (SRCO), which manages the Ashiana Boys Orphanage Hostel in Kishtwar, contributing towards the welfare, education and rehabilitation of orphaned and underprivileged children. In addition, he has been extending legal guidance to various educational institutions, charitable organisations and media houses.

Congratulating Sharma on his remarkable achievements, Dr. Mohd. Salim and Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Khan of Lloyd Law College said that the institution is proud to honour one of its distinguished alumni whose professional excellence, leadership and commitment to public service continue to inspire aspiring lawyers.

They expressed hope that Advocate Kuldeep Kumar Sharma would continue serving society with the same dedication while motivating future generations of legal professionals to uphold the highest standards of the profession.

Several political leaders, social activists, legal fraternity members, colleagues, friends and well-wishers from Kishtwar and other parts of Jammu and Kashmir also congratulated Advocate Kuldeep Kumar Sharma on the recognition, describing the honour as a matter of pride for the entire Chenab Valley.
