Jammu-Srinagar National Highway Closed Due to Landslides and Shooting Stones

Jammu, Oct 7: The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been closed for vehicular movement following landslides, shooting stones, and mudslides triggered by continuous rainfall at multiple locations along the route.

Meanwhile, the Mughal Road, SSG Road, and Sinthan Road also remain closed due to heavy snow accumulation, cutting off connectivity between several districts.

Authorities have advised people to avoid travel on these routes until the roads are fully restored and cleared for safe movement.
