In a sustained crackdown against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Domana Police achieved another major success by apprehending two drug peddlers and recovering 12 grams of heroin like contraband substance at Domana Naka under the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana.
On 10.03.2026, acting upon prior specific information, a police team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Domana, Insp. Varuneshwar Singh, apprehended two drug peddlers, namely:-
1.Abhijot Singh @ Abhi, S/o Jasbir Singh, R/o Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
2.Navjot Singh, S/o Rajender Singh, R/o Sector 2, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
During their personal search,12 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from their possession. The recovered contraband was sealed and seized on the spot. The motorcycle bearing Registration No. JK02DM-0410, which was being used in the commission of the offence, was also seized on the spot.
Accordingly, FIR No. 58/2026 under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana. The accused persons have been arrested, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the forward and backward linkages of the drug network.
