J&K Gears Up for a Series of Sporting Competitions Aimed at Promoting Youth Participation, Athletic Talent and Sports Development Across the Region
Jammu & Kashmir, October 14: Jammu and Kashmir is set to host nine sporting events between October 15 and December 2, 2026, marking an important period for sports activities across the Union Territory.
The upcoming events are expected to provide opportunities for athletes to showcase their talent, gain competitive experience and encourage greater youth participation in sports.
The sporting calendar is also expected to strengthen the region’s growing sports culture and promote physical fitness, teamwork and healthy competition among young participants.
