Jammu and Kashmir to Host Major Travel Mart on April 14–15 to Boost Tourism and Industry Growth

JAMMU, Mar 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department is set to host the Kashmir Travel Mart in April this year to showcase the region’s vast tourism potential.

“J&K Tourism will organise the Kashmir Travel Mart-2026 on April 14-15, bringing together nearly 250 stakeholders from over 20 states across the country,” Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said in a post on his official X handle.

He added that the event will spotlight the region’s tourism strengths through craft safaris, curated destination tours, and B2B interactions, offering participants an immersive experience of Kashmir’s culture, heritage, and hospitality.

Describing it as a key initiative, he said the event aims to strengthen tourism linkages and further position Kashmir as a leading global travel destination. (Agency)
