Four Injured in Bear Attack in Kulgam’s Nandimarg

Kulgam, October 1: Four people, including two men and two women, were injured after a wild bear attacked them in the Nandimarg Nard area of Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday, officials said.

According to officials, the victims came under attack in the area after encountering the bear. The injured were subsequently shifted for medical treatment. Further details about their condition were not immediately available.

The incident has caused concern among residents in the area, where encounters between people and wild animals have been reported in recent weeks.
