A suspected drone was spotted by locals in the border area of Gajansoo in Jammu district on Thursday afternoon, prompting an intensive search operation by security agencies, officials said.
The operation was jointly conducted by the Border Security Force (BSF) and Jammu & Kashmir Police (JKP).
A police official stated, “It is not yet clear whether the drone originated from this side of the border or from across it,” adding that an investigation is currently underway.
