Kishtwar, January 12, 2026: On the basis of FIR No. 01/2026 registered under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Marwah on January 12, 2026, the Driving Licence of the accused has been disqualified. The action was initiated by ARTO Kishtwar, Tasleem Javed Wani, in accordance with the provisions of law.
The accused has been identified as Juneed Ahmad, son of Shabir Ahmed Wagay, resident of Chanjer, Marwah. His Driving Licence bearing number JK17 20170000641 has been disqualified following his involvement in the NDPS case.
Besides this, blacklisting of the vehicle involved in the offence has also been recommended. The Registration Certificate of the vehicle bearing registration number JK19 2399 has been proposed for suspension/cancellation.
The move reflects the firm stance of the administration against drug-related offences and misuse of vehicles in criminal activities.
