Jammu, Oct 20: In order to flush out blue eyed and backdoor appointees from the government set-up administration of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory has issued an order to conduct the scanning of documents for re-verification of Government employees who have acquired jobs in government set-up by submission of fake and fraudulent documents.
According to sources Anti Corruption Bureau have gathered inputs about these frauds and it continues to take action,the Jammu and Kashmir administration has tightened noose against those who have been able to acquire govt jobs on fake and bogus documents, the sources added.
It is pertinent to mention here that a ReT in Baramulla district of North Kashmir had acquired job on the basis of matriculation certificate. She did the job for five years and later on applied for general line teacher post to concerned Chief Education Officer who sent his testimonial for verification to BOSE Srinagar which in return reported that her certificate was fake and she was terminated with immediate effect.
Sources said to prevent such frauds and to check the menace of backdoor appointments in the government set-up, an order of re-verification of documents particularly the last passed examination, degrees, matriculation certificate, 12th class pass certificate etc etc of all the government employees has been put in place and its process has begun in Jammu and Kashmir. Besides those who have cleared their examinations in back log were asked to get their certificate of results to ascertain validity of their documents on the basis of which they have been able to acquire the government job, they added.
Administration is determined to expose the fraudsters who have acquired jobs on fake documents, by tampering government orders or by using some unfair means will be dealt with iron hand and brought to the book,sources added.
