Kishtwar, May 5: The implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and the functioning of Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) was reviewed today by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, in a meeting held here.
The Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed review of the progress achieved under flagship interventions in the agriculture and allied sectors.
Emphasizing timely execution, the DC directed field staff and district officers to ensure that all 6,351 proposed units under HADP are established within a period of 10 days. He warned that failure to meet the deadline would invite strict action, including explanations from concerned officials and possible withholding of salaries.
He stressed the need for close monitoring and accountability at all levels to ensure effective implementation of the programme.
The Nodal Officer KKG was directed to immediately resolve technical issues in the Kisan Khidmat Ghar application to ensure smooth functioning. Field staff were instructed to closely monitor KKG activities and submit daily progress reports without fail.
The Lead District Manager (LDM) was asked to expedite clearance of all pending credit applications and ensure timely sanctioning of new cases, noting that this component carries significant weightage in district performance rankings under the programme.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the importance of inter-departmental coordination to achieve desired outcomes under HADP and KKG initiatives.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Vinod Kumar Behnal, CAO Kushal Chandel, CHO Sajid Mustafa, DSHO Dr. Jamil Nasir, LDM Harsh Rawal, along with other officers and staff from the Agriculture Department and Krishi Udhyamis.
