Coolie Worldwide Box Office Collection: Rajinikanth’s Stardom Shines Bright. The legendary actor returned to the big screen this weekend with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, and the film has smashed box office records. Fueled by record-breaking advance bookings overseas and strong spot sales domestically, Coolie has set multiple collection benchmarks on its first day, marking one of the biggest openings ever for an Indian film.

This is a remarkable achievement for Rajinikanth, who has driven the film to record occupancy levels not only in Tamil but also in the Telugu and Hindi-dubbed versions. The appearances of Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Aamir Khan’s cameo have added to the appeal. However, Coolie’s biggest triumph has been overseas, where it has set multiple all-time records for a Tamil film.

Coolie earned an estimated ₹65 crore net in India on its opening day, according to early reports from Sacnillk. This marks the second-highest domestic opening for a Tamil film, just behind Vijay’s Leo (₹66 crore) and ahead of Rajinikanth’s own 2.0 (₹60 crore). The final gross collection figures are yet to be confirmed but are expected to be around ₹80 crore, based on preliminary data. (Sources)
