Speaking at an Iftar gathering hosted by the state government in Vijayawada on March 27, Naidu emphasized his long-standing support for the Muslim community.

“I have always stood by the Muslim minority community—yesterday, today, and forever. Spending time with my Muslim brothers during Ramadan brings me great satisfaction,” he wrote on X.

Naidu recalled that the TDP government had safeguarded Waqf properties before Andhra Pradesh’s bifurcation and remains committed to doing so now. He further highlighted that various welfare schemes for minorities, including the Minorities Finance Corporation, were launched during N.T. Rama Rao’s tenure.

Referring to key infrastructure projects, Naidu noted that while the Haj House in Hyderabad was completed under the TDP administration, the foundation for the Haj House in Amaravati was laid but stalled under the previous YSRCP government.
