LG Sinha Reaffirms Centre’s Commitment to Kashmiri Pandits’ Return, Assures PM Package Employees of Equal Benefits

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reiterated the Central Government’s commitment to the dignified return of Kashmiri Pandits to the valley, emphasizing that significant efforts are being made to create a conducive environment for their resettlement. “The government is working tirelessly to remove all obstacles and facilitate their return,” he stated.

Addressing the Navreh Samaroh organized by the Kashmiri Pandit Sabha in Amphalla, Jammu, LG Sinha extended warm greetings on the occasion of Navreh. He wished for prosperity, happiness, and a bright future for all and called on the younger generation to celebrate Navratri as ‘Nari Shakti Utsav’, underscoring the need for equal opportunities for women.

Acknowledging the Kashmiri Pandit community’s cultural and spiritual contributions, the LG remarked, “Jammu & Kashmir is blessed with spiritual energy, and the Kashmiri Pandit community has reached the ultimate peak of consciousness through centuries of devotion.” He urged the gathering to honor the great personalities of the community and preserve their rich heritage.

Addressing the concerns of PM Package employees, Sinha assured that they would receive the same benefits as other J&K government employees. He also praised the Kashmiri Pandit Sabha and other organizations for their efforts in preserving the region’s cultural and spiritual legacy.

“The collective coordination of Kashmiri Pandit organizations reflects the strength of this vibrant culture. I am confident that the values being instilled in the younger generation will safeguard this heritage for the future,” he said.

The event also highlighted the spirit of unity in diversity, as LG Sinha urged people to strengthen the emotional bond among communities. “Let us pledge today to further solidify this unity for the welfare of Jammu & Kashmir,” he concluded.

The event was attended by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, former DGP Kuldeep Khoda, Kashmiri Pandit Sabha President K.K. Khosa, Senior Vice President Deepak Dhar, and several senior officials and citizens.
