Earth Adjustment Following Microgravity, In an Instagram video, Shukla shared how his body is gradually adapting to the transition from space back to Earth. He noted that even simple tasks—like walking in a straight line or maintaining balance—can become temporarily difficult after returning from a microgravity environment. He explained how space affects the human body: fluids shift, heart rate slows down, muscles weaken, and the inner balance system adjusts to the microgravity environment. Upon returning to Earth, the body must readapt to gravity—a process that starts quickly but varies in duration for each astronaut.
